Role: SFCC Front End Engineer

Location: NYC, NY (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ months

Key Responsibilities:

• Front-End Development: Implement and optimize UI components using HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, and ISML templates. Should have knowledge of bootstrap, common JS.
• SFRA Implementation: Develop and customize SFCC Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) to align with business needs.
• Responsive & Accessible Design: Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to accessibility best practices.
• Performance Optimization: Enhance page load speed and overall user experience through efficient coding and asset optimization.
• Collaboration: Work with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Third-Party Integrations: Implement and maintain integrations with analytics, personalization tools, and external APIs.
• Code Reviews & Best Practices: Maintain high coding standards, enforce best practices, and conduct peer code reviews.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve front-end performance bottlenecks and UI inconsistencies.
• Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain technical documentation and adhere to coding standards for maintainability and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 2 years in SFCC development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, and ISML templates.
• Experience with SFCC SFRA framework and front-end controllers.
• Deep Knowledge of Page Designer components.
• Well Verse in SFCC content strategy 
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular) is good to have.
• Experience working with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.).
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
