What You’ll Do:

  • Lead & Innovate: Spearhead multiple data science projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and deliver measurable results.
  • Develop Predictive Models: Design and implement predictive models that seamlessly integrate with our Business Intelligence tools.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with applications, engineering, and data teams to deploy scalable, AI-driven models and algorithms.
  • Mentorship: Guide junior data scientists in their professional development and foster a culture of knowledge-sharing.
  • Strategic Insight: Provide business intelligence insights to Senior Leadership, influencing strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Research & Development: Stay on top of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, incorporating them into the projects you lead.
  • Data Pipeline Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of efficient data pipelines that ensure smooth data retrieval and processing.
  • Ethical AI: Lead ethical considerations in AI model development, ensuring responsible data usage and minimizing biases.
  • External Collaboration: Collaborate with industry experts, research institutions, and external partners to drive domain-specific insights and advance data science practices.
  • Exploratory Data Analysis: Uncover insights through data mining, uncovering patterns, and generating actionable findings that support business growth.

What We’re Looking For:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a data science role with a proven track record of solving complex business challenges using data.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Machine Learning & AI Expertise: In-depth experience with machine learning algorithms, deep learning, NLP, and other advanced AI techniques.
  • Programming Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
  • Data Analysis & Statistical Modeling: Expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, and creating predictive models for complex business problems.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive business solutions.
  • Ethical Data Science: Familiarity with ethical considerations in AI, including mitigating bias and ensuring fairness in data-driven decision-making.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes, industry trends, and market dynamics to ensure your insights and recommendations are aligned with company goals.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Business Intelligence Tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for seamless integration with predictive models.
  • Data Monetization & Commercialization: Experience with data commercialization strategies, including leveraging data for business value.
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP): Ability to analyze and extract insights from unstructured text data.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience working in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
