As our Data Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of air service at DFW Airport. Your expertise will influence strategic decisions, fuel business growth, and improve our competitive position in the global aviation market.
Forecasting the Future: Lead air service route traffic and revenue forecasting using QSI models, analyzing profit potential for different air service routes and making adjustments based on feedback.
Driving Strategy: Develop and maintain both long-term and short-term forecasts for passengers, landed weights, and operations to support the annual budget and other forecasting efforts.
Business Case Development: Partner with various teams to create compelling business cases that showcase the growth potential of new routes and services for presentation to airline executives.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and statistical analysis to support the passenger development plan, identify under-served and emerging markets, and recommend strategies to improve DFW’s position in the market.
Collaborative Reporting: Serve as a liaison with Revenue Management, Finance, and other departments to support budget processes and deliver monthly performance reports.
Insightful Reporting: Organize trade statistics, airport data, and research findings into narrative and graphic reports to present to airport management and stakeholders.
Special Projects: Take the lead on special projects and initiatives that drive operational efficiency and business development for DFW.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, International Business, Finance/Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Aviation Management, or a related field.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in market research, trade development, or quantitative analysis. We also value related experience in the airline or aviation industry.
