About the Role:As a Research Scientist I, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and facilitating investigator-initiated research projects that aim to enhance pediatric care. From the early stages of study design to publication, you'll oversee projects in both retrospective and prospective formats. Your expertise will guide the analysis and interpretation of clinical data, making you a key player in advancing our mission of delivering the highest quality care.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead the Research Process: Oversee the life cycle of investigator-initiated projects, from design and initiation to execution, analysis, and publication.
- Data Management & Statistical Analysis: Manage complex data sets, apply statistical techniques, and interpret findings to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Study Design Expertise: Collaborate with other experts to develop robust study designs that align with the highest standards of research.
- Medical and Grant Writing: Contribute to grant applications, medical writing, and the publication of research results, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all communications.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure projects run smoothly and meet key deadlines.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all research adheres to federal regulations, medical terminology standards, and ethical guidelines for pediatric research.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Education & Experience: Master’s degree in Research, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Chemistry, or a related field. You also have 3+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent mix of education and practical knowledge.
- Technical Proficiency: You are comfortable with Excel, word processing tools, and research software, with an ability to manage large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
- Research Expertise: Demonstrated ability in statistical analysis, study design, and data interpretation, with a focus on pediatric health (preferred).
- Writing & Editing Skills: Your communication is clear, concise, and impactful, especially in writing and editing grants, medical papers, and reports.
- Attention to Detail: You have a sharp eye for accuracy, ensuring all data, analysis, and reports meet the highest standards.
- Leadership & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent in managing teams, cross-functional communication, and driving collaboration within research projects.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical terminology and research regulations, ensuring compliance throughout all stages of the research process.
