Your Mission:As a Senior MLOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in embedding AI solutions into real-world projects, ensuring they thrive in production. You’ll be collaborating with cross-functional teams—Data Scientists, Business Stakeholders, Analysts, and Data Engineers—to create reusable frameworks, optimize code, implement automated CI/CD testing, and ensure smooth deployment processes. You’ll be at the helm of building sustainable machine learning systems that not only drive performance but also ensure the long-term success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect & Build: Develop, maintain, and document reusable machine learning frameworks (Python packages) that streamline multiple projects across the company.
- Collaborate with Teams: Support diverse teams, including data scientists, business stakeholders, and analysts, to help guide projects from conceptualization to execution.
- Model Performance: Implement monitoring systems to assess model performance in production, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency.
- Automate & Scale: Spearhead the automation of CI/CD testing and deployments, applying MLOps best practices to ensure smooth, scalable solutions.
- Innovate: Continuously optimize and refactor code for enhanced performance, testing for common issues that may arise in production and developing solutions to resolve them.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience working with sensor data or other noisy data types.
- Strong background in Agile Software Development and experience within a large corporation or consulting firm.
- Familiarity with big-data analytics frameworks like Spark and Azure Data Factory.
- Hands-on experience with MLOps tools such as Azure DevOps, MLFlow, or similar.
- Proficiency in cloud computing services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
- Knowledge of data science techniques, including statistics, machine learning, and cognitive AI.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of overall experience in Data Analytics, with at least 3 years in ML Engineering and/or MLOps.
- Ability to develop scalable machine learning systems and build data-driven products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Solid experience with Python packages (e.g., Numpy, Pandas, Sklearn, PySpark).
- Proficient in SQL and have a strong understanding of version control, object-oriented programming, and other essential software engineering skills.
