What You'll Do
As a Post Doctoral Fellow in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, you will work with world-class researchers to push the boundaries of AI applications in neurocritical care, cardiovascular health, and wearable health devices. You’ll engage in hands-on research that includes:
- Signal Processing & Time Series Analysis: Work with physiological signals like ECG, EEG, blood pressure, intracranial pressure, and more.
- Multimodal Health Data Integration: Develop predictive models integrating data from electronic health records (EHR), wearable devices, and MRI scans.
- Deep Learning & Machine Learning Algorithms: Design algorithms that unlock novel capabilities in health AI applications, particularly for critical conditions like strokes, epilepsy, and atrial fibrillation.
- Collaboration: Partner with experts from various institutions to enhance your research and help drive the next breakthroughs in healthcare AI.
- Publications & Impact: Publish your findings in high-impact journals and contribute to advancing knowledge in AI and health sciences.
Ideal Candidate
- Qualifications: A Ph.D. or equivalent (M.D., ScD., D.V.M., etc.) in biomedical engineering, biomedical informatics, health sciences, applied statistics/math, computer science, or related fields.
- Research Focus: Previous work applying techniques in signal processing, time series analysis, machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and data visualization to health-related problems.
- Skills: Strong ability to conduct independent research, design experiments, and publish findings. Excellent scientific writing and oral communication skills are essential.
- Experience: Prior experience with healthcare data, AI models, and an interest in clinical applications is preferred.
