The Role:

As an Insurance Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting onsite surveys and inspections for commercial businesses. You will assess properties such as retail locations, restaurants, hotels, schools, construction sites, and more. Your observations will contribute directly to the underwriting process by identifying potential hazards and offering recommendations for risk mitigation.

What You'll Do:

• Onsite Inspections: Perform risk control surveys for businesses across Augusta, GA, and nearby areas (within a 40-mile radius).
• Risk Mitigation: Provide detailed reports to clients on the condition of properties, identifying potential risks for commercial insurance policies (Property, General Liability, Workers Compensation, Auto/Fleet, and more).
• Client Communication: Coordinate with clients to schedule inspections and ensure all surveys are completed on time.
• Independent Work: Manage your schedule and assignments independently, while maintaining high-quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience (Preferred): Background in commercial insurance, real estate, construction, inspection, loss control, underwriting, or fire and safety is a plus.
• No Experience? No Problem! If you lack experience, we offer a 15-hour online certification course to get you up to speed.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and an eye for detail.
