Why This Role Matters:
As a PT Data Scientist & AI Developer, you'll sit at the intersection of innovation and transformation, leveraging cutting-edge AI and data solutions to enhance Southwire’s connected factory systems and business operations. You'll harness data, develop automation, and work with a variety of tools to unlock actionable insights and drive efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and visualize factory and business data to uncover trends and inform decision-making.
• Automation Development: Build and maintain scripts to automate data collection and reporting using tools like Python, PowerShell, and more.
• Systems Integration: Maintain and optimize robotic process automation (RPA) and connected factory systems.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with IT, business teams, and engineering functions to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Data Transformation: Reformat data for analysis, add and maintain OPC tags, and generate meaningful reports.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: Focus on data science, machine learning, or generative AI preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in VB Script, Java, PowerShell, SQL, Python, C#, .Net, R, SOAP & REST API, and ABBYY.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset, project management experience, and the ability to collaborate across teams.
