As the Manager of Data Platforms, you'll be at the heart of Graco’s data strategy. You’ll guide a talented team of Architects, Engineers, and Analysts, ensuring the smooth, secure, and innovative handling of our enterprise data. What You Will Do at Graco:

• Drive Data Management Strategy: Oversee the creation, management, and innovation of enterprise-wide data systems. Your role will be essential in selecting the right database technologies, ensuring data quality, and developing seamless data migrations and integrations.
• Lead Advanced Analytics: Use cutting-edge analytics tools to uncover insights that impact key operations and business strategies. You’ll empower the team to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Ensure Compliance & Risk Management: Protect the integrity and privacy of Graco’s data by ensuring compliance with relevant laws, managing data risks, and building strong governance frameworks.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work hand-in-hand with product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and align solutions with Graco’s organizational objectives.
• Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing Data Platform team by setting clear goals, fostering growth, and ensuring alignment with Graco’s strategic vision.
• Manage Budget & Resources: Oversee the annual Data Management budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and alignment with Graco’s goals.

What You Will Bring to Graco:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in data management, advanced analytics, and data engineering.
• 2+ years of leadership experience, managing teams and driving collaborative success.
• Expertise in data architecture, proficiency in SQL, Python, and other data-related languages.
• Hands-on experience with Fivetran, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms, data visualization tools, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• A PhD in a related field.
• Certifications like Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
• Knowledge of Industrial Manufacturing and AI implementation in data management.

Base Pay Range:
$108,700.00 - $190,100.00 (excluding fringe benefits or other compensation)
