The Department of Information Systems in the College of Business is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor to elevate teaching, research, and service in cutting-edge fields.

What You’ll Do:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and cybersecurity (in-person, hybrid, or online).
  • Publish impactful research in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Actively contribute to the university and the professional community.
  • Commit to supporting our diverse student population, including first-generation and minoritized students.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in business or a relevant field (degree completion by August 1, 2025).
  • Demonstrated teaching potential in AI, cloud computing, or cybersecurity.
  • Evidence of research and scholarly activities.
  • Passion for mentoring and engaging with diverse students.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College-level teaching experience.
  • Published research in top-tier journals.
  • Industry experience and professional connections.
  • Proven success with diverse populations similar to CSULB’s student body.

  • A salary range of $71,100–$151,128 annually, with an anticipated hiring range of $133,000–$137,000/year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
