What You’ll Do:

• Lead AI Innovation: Spearhead the design, architecture, and delivery of conversational AI experiences that delight our guests. You’ll play a key role in driving AI and emerging tech initiatives that set Vail Resorts apart in the industry.
• Collaborate & Align: Work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and vendors to define requirements, align on delivery milestones, and ensure the successful implementation of AI-driven features.
• Drive Technical Delivery: Oversee the technical development and release of AI features, including ongoing QA and testing, ensuring top-tier performance and resilience of AI agents.
• Innovate and Evolve: Bring your creative expertise to leverage AI technology in ways that will continue to evolve and improve guest and employee experiences. Your innovative perspective will help push the boundaries of what's possible.
• Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep the team and leadership informed of the latest AI industry trends and opportunities, bringing proactive, strategic insights to the table.

What You’ll Need:

• Experience: Proven background in architecting and building virtual agent solutions, particularly with Dialogflow CX, and a deep understanding of NLP/NLU, Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI technologies.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java or Python and data integration solutions.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with experience managing projects across multiple internal and external teams. You’re great at bringing people together and communicating complex technical concepts to both peers and executives.
• Innovation: A passion for using AI to create innovative experiences, and a demonstrated ability to bring interactive technologies to market successfully.
• Problem-Solving: You’re not just about building the AI systems but making sure they continuously evolve and improve based on real-world feedback and business needs.
