What You’ll Do:

• Lead Analytical Projects: Take ownership of high-impact projects, from data exploration and feature engineering to building and deploying machine learning models that solve business-critical problems.
• Develop Predictive Models: Use advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to build predictive models that inform business strategies and enhance decision-making.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to understand their goals and provide data-driven insights that shape their strategies.
• Extract Insights from Data: Analyze large and complex datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities that lead to actionable insights and business growth.
• Optimize Processes: Continuously improve existing models and processes, enhancing the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of our data science initiatives.
• Communicate Findings: Present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, helping them make informed decisions.
• Mentor Junior Data Scientists: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, helping them grow their skills and advance in their careers.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in data science or a related field, with a strong focus on statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar data science programming languages, and hands-on experience with machine learning libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
• Extensive experience with data manipulation tools like SQL, Pandas, and Hadoop, and the ability to work with large, structured and unstructured datasets.
• Strong understanding of statistics and machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, classification, clustering, and time-series analysis.
• A knack for problem-solving, with the ability to take complex business problems and turn them into data-driven solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences and making data accessible to stakeholders at all levels.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong ability to spot trends, detect outliers, and ensure the accuracy of insights and recommendations.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with big data platforms such as Spark or Hive, and proficiency with cloud-based tools like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Expertise in natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or deep learning techniques.
• A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, with an advanced degree (Master's or PhD) preferred.
• Experience in A/B testing and experimental design for optimizing products and marketing strategies.
