What You’ll Do:

• Lead Program Strategy: Develop and implement a clear strategy for software development projects within the ITS domain, ensuring alignment with business goals, stakeholder expectations, and industry standards.
• Manage Cross-Functional Teams: Oversee diverse teams of software engineers, data scientists, and systems architects to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
• Coordinate Project Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of ITS software products, tracking milestones, identifying risks, and ensuring effective problem-solving throughout the development cycle.
• Drive Innovation: Work with stakeholders to define product requirements and drive innovation in areas such as smart traffic management, data analytics, connected vehicles, and IoT integration.
• Ensure Quality & Compliance: Maintain a strong focus on software quality, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with city officials, transportation authorities, and external partners to understand market needs, regulatory requirements, and technological trends, ensuring the development of market-leading products.
• Optimize Program Performance: Continuously assess and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of development processes, implementing best practices in agile project management and software development methodologies.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in program management, with a strong background in software development and ITS or transportation-related projects.
• Proven expertise in managing large, complex software development programs, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration, agile methodologies, and project lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of intelligent transportation systems, including traffic management, vehicle-to-infrastructure communication, and connected systems.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams, manage stakeholders, and drive alignment across diverse groups.
• Proficiency in software development tools and platforms (e.g., Jira, Git, CI/CD pipelines).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.

Bonus Points:

• Experience working with IoT, AI, or machine learning technologies within the transportation industry.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory frameworks related to ITS, such as ISO 9001, IEEE, or SAE J2735.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Transportation Systems, or a related field.
• Certifications in Agile Project Management or Scrum Master.
• Previous work with autonomous vehicle systems, smart cities, or traffic management solutions.
