UI/UX Designer/Developer

Role : UI/UX Designer/Developer
Location : Atlanta, GA (Onsite) only local
Job Type: W2/C2C contract roles

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Design and develop user interfaces for micro-frontend applications using React.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and create user-centric designs.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate based on feedback.
• Implement responsive and accessible designs that work seamlessly across various devices and platforms.
• Work with back-end teams to integrate APIs and ensure smooth functionality of micro-frontends.
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability in a micro-frontend architecture.
• Stay updated on best practices for micro-frontends and design trends.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in UI/UX design and front-end development with a strong portfolio demonstrating your work.
• Proficiency in React and related technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Experience with micro-frontend architecture and frameworks (e.g., Module Federation, single-spa).
• Strong understanding of design principles, user-centered design, and usability standards.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Knowledge of responsive design techniques and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• WCAG Compliance: Check adherence to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). 

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for micro-frontend applications.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques specific to micro-frontend environments.
• Experience with backend technologies or APIs that integrate with React applications.

Additional Notes:
• A degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• An understanding of DevOps practices is a plus.
