THE ROLE
The Client’s Digital team designs, develops andbrings to life global digital solutions serving our 96 markets. Our mission isto create a leading B2B2C platform serving our Distributors and theirCustomers, driving Client’s to theforefront of the Wellness gig economy.
The VP Digital Technologyis a key leadership role responsible to lead the front-end engineering team andprovide a broad scope of technology leadership across the digital organization.The position is accountable for building and leading an impactful team,modernizing the technology stack, renovating processes and upskilling the teamto deliver effective and cost-efficient technology solutions.
The role is stationed atthe corporate headquarters in SoCal but will work across a distributedtechnology teams in the US, India and Mexico.
HOW YOU WOULDCONTRIBUTE:
• Defines and communicatesthe technical vision and strategy for front-office engineering within theorganization
• Educates organization ontechnology matters, stays ahead of evolving engineering and architecturestandard methodologies, introduces new platforms and emerging technology
• Analyses and makesdecisions about where to buy vs. build technology with a deep understanding ofcost, performance, and capability trade-offs
• Leads all aspects ofsolution blueprint for highly functional, reliable, and performant systemsacross the enterprise, working closely with Enterprise Architecture
• Leads engineering andsolution architecture to support value stream teams in achieving ideal productdevelopment quality and timelines
• Ensures the engineeringteam maintains the desired level of quality and standards, includingperformance metrics
• Drives team towardssuccessful delivery and daily operations, including quality and speed
• Collaborates withsecurity teams to perform regular assessments and address potentialvulnerabilities
• Manages a globallydistributed team of ~200 internal and external resources across India, Mexico,and the US
• Key partners: digitalproduct team, back-office engineering, infrastructure and operations,enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data & analytics

SKILLS ANDBACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
• Ability to interacteffectively with individuals from different countries and cultures, with asensitivity to cultural diversity.
• Occasional travel
• 15 + year’s experiencein technology management with 8+ years in management in consumer or technologysectors
• Experience in aleadership role in a large global enterprise with demonstrated ability tocommunicate effectively and influence multi-functional teams
• Innovation-drivenmentality with a passion for process improvement, digital transformation, andemerging technologies
• Inspiring and highlycapable leader with the ability to establish clear strategy that can motivateothers to deliver and influence change across the organization
• Prior P&Lresponsibility leading large-scale resource and project planning and execution
• Experience running teamsthrough scaled agile
Education
• Bachelor’s degree incomputer science or equivalent
