The Systems Administrator is responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software, including or related to Windows Servers, VMWare, Veeam and Exchange. This individual will assist systems engineering and management with resolution of technical issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Provide Tier II & III support, investigate and troubleshoot issues
Create, change, and terminate user accounts
Monitor system and hardware logs
Manage file system permissions and quotas
Contribute to and maintain system standards
Perform scheduled operating system patching
Participate in and support creation of desktop images
Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for administrative tasks
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
Document procedures and policies related to the job function
Provide on-call support as required to ensure high availability of systems
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNoneSKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge/Experience in Windows Servers (2012/16) Required
Microsoft Certifications preferred.â?¢ Experience in Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, WSUS, WDS required
Experience in VMWare VSphere/VCenter, Veeam, Next-gen firewall and Aruba Networks or Cisco preferredâ?¢ Microsoft Azure, Office 365 & Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience a plus
Eight years minimum system administration experience.
The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate.
Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to get along with others or to be part of a team.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor\'s degree (B.S.) from four-year College or University and 8 years of work related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
