Undergeneral direction of Supervisor, shall perform:
All field activites relating to the collection ofunpaid/delinquent accounts, high bill investigations and other related work.
Shall perform functions relating to the troubleshooting,replacement, installing, repairing, reading and other related work as assignedof water meters and meter reading devices for all sizes of meters andmanagement’s discretion.
Locat and operate curb stops and valves for all size meters.
Makes repairs and adjustments such as, packing box leaks,replacing or installing meter couplings, unions, nipples, valves, AMI or otherrelated reading equipment, etc.
Reports and unusual conditions observed on customers’premises, such as but not limited to tampered meters or unauthorized use.
Will substitute for the Leader – Meter Department positionfirst, in order of seniority.
Creates and maintains records and reports related to workperformed/assigned on a daily basis.
Performs snow removal as required.
Performs similar, related or lesser duties when assigned.
Assists Leader Meter Department with stock inventory asdirected.
