Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, business administration, Information Systems, or related field

  • Three years?? experience as a Workday Financials Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of financial processes and Workday Financial Management modules

  • Proficiency in Workday Financials module and business process configurations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity

  • Incumbent should be a self-starter, have experience and thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of Workday HRIS in a customer service environment, working experience with Microsoft systems

  • Incumbent must display excellent proof reading / grammar skills, accuracy, confidentiality, dependability, initiative, and ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks, which would require excellent organizational skills

  • Professional demeanor, communication, mathematical and general business knowledge are essential

Responsibilities

  • The Workday Financials Administrator a key player in managing and enhancing the financial modules within our Workday ERP system

  • This role demands a comprehensive understanding of financial operations, expertise in Workdayâ??s features, and robust analytical abilities to aid in financial decision-making and guarantee the system aligns with our bankâ??s requirements, while ensuring data integrity

  • Physical effort required is light

  • Configure and maintain Workday Financial Management modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Prism, Expenses, and Financial Reporting

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into system configurations

  • Ensure data integrity by monitoring and managing data loads, integrations, and system updates

  • Manage Workday Financial user permissions, access, personalization, and system operations and monitor system access and security settings to safeguard financial data and maintain data confidentiality

  • Report manipulation, and complex data reporting for CFO, and accounting team

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback, analyze workflows, and implement enhancements or customizations to meet evolving business needs

  • Stay apprised and share up to date on Workday releases and new features, assess their potential impact and recommend adoption strategies

  • Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards within Workday to support internal reporting requirements

  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making and strategic planning

  • Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements

  • Provide ongoing support to end-users by troubleshooting system issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing solutions

  • Develop internal training materials to be used to educate end users on Workday Financial functionality

  • Serve as a point of contact for Workday Financials to assist with, troubleshooting system issues, implementing identified solutions, and support the end user inquiries

  • Performs other related duties as assigned
