Qualifications â?¢ The ability to effectively communicate and present complex program proposals and reports to executive level management is critical â?¢ Proven leadership skills in multi-cultural and possibly multi-national environments â?¢ Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-oriented environment â?¢ BA/BS degree in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience Responsibilities â?¢ Candidate will be planning, coordinating and managing the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of assigned projects â?¢ Additionally, he/she will ensure clear agreement of client objectives, and these objectives are met or exceeded, achieve or better the budgeted gross margin and provide strong HSE leadership â?¢ The Project Managers are responsible for administering and managing the design teams including staff planning, budget forecasting, mentoring, financial performance and reporting progress and challenges to Worley location leadership â?¢ The Project Manager is expected to drive the team to meet project financial, schedule, and project objectives, consistent with Worley\'s standard operating procedures â?¢ HSE Management - Ensures compliance with all HSE procedures and that that HSE requirements are documented and understood by all project participants; â?¢ Client Relationships - Identifies, documents and communicates client requirements â?¢ Effectively manages multiple stakeholders and maintains / develops healthy client relationships throughout the project and post-completion â?¢ Proactively resolves performance, scope, cost and schedule issues with the Client as they arise; â?¢ Commercial Management - effectively manages Worley/Client contract; â?¢ Scope Management - manages an effective handover from the Business Development Group â?¢ Clearly defines scope and compliance with requirements of the contract â?¢ Effectively manages change control process application, project interfaces, including use of High Value Engineering Centres Manages and monitors project performance to identify issues and opportunities early and seizing opportunities to take pre-emptive action; â?¢ Time Management - Manages the planning of all scope elements of the project â?¢ Develops resource and financial requirements from the project plan â?¢ Manages the design, procurement and construction activities to meet the project schedule â?¢ Routinely monitors the key reports and development of corrective action plans â?¢ Achieves timely and effective documentation turnover at project close-out; â?¢ Cost Control - Plans and prepares accurate project estimates â?¢ Establishes cost reports for control of projects â?¢ Monitors and controls all cost aspects of the project including forecasting costs, obtaining approvals, identifying trends and taking action to avoid cost overruns and identifying opportunities â?¢ Continual assessment of performance of cost control system and personnel; â?¢ Quality Management - Defines the project quality requirements â?¢ Ensures the right systems are in place and applied on the project â?¢ Develops a project schedule which allows work to be executed in logical sequences â?¢ Ensures compliance with Worley policies and procedures; â?¢ Team Management - Provides clear and focused leadership for the project team to create a vision for project success and a strategy to fit that vision â?¢ Focuses on achievement of milestones and other key project objectives â?¢ Provides mentoring and participates in staff performance evaluations; â?¢ Communications Management - Ensures accurate and timely progress reporting to the client and internally to the management â?¢ Ongoing monitoring of the communication network between project staff, the client and third parties and introduction of changes where required; â?¢ Risk Management - Identifies project risks and opportunities â?¢ Monitors closure of all identified risks and opportunities; â?¢ Design Management - Sets clear objectives for the design team â?¢ Ensures design team is aware of, and complies with client\'s Basis of Design and applicable regulations and codes â?¢ Monitors design activities, inter-discipline data flow and communications; â?¢ Typically manages multiple, complex projects or programs â?¢ Typically manages work directly through project leads or other project managers â?¢ Procurement/Subcontracts Management - Sets clear objectives for procurement and subcontracts team â?¢ Assesses procurement process through the project to ensure goods meet specifications and are delivered on time and within budget; â?¢ Construction Management - Sets clear objectives for the Construction team â?¢ Monitors the Construction Management function to ensure safe delivery of the project within cost and schedule objectives â?¢ Ability to visualize and oversee the design of new concepts and ideas related to the broader organization as well as functional area of expertise and;
